Hard Times For Winter Animals

It is freezing in Beijing, and almost all the rivers and lakes are frozen except in some areas where the water flow pressure is higher, but those areas are tiny most of the time. I have taken these pictures in December when I visited a forest area where some lakes are also located, which are also frozen as you can see in the pictures.

In normal times, I see these birds and domestic animals are very healthy with a abundance of food in the water area. Also, many visitors visit these areas to enjoy the natural beauty and throw food to these birds and animals in the lake or river, and these animals enjoy the extra food also. Also, I have seen many people feeding fish at normal times, but in this winter time, the situation is completely different. The situation becomes tougher for these animals living in water and water-related areas.

Usually, there are many ducks and goose that can be seen so many numbers in normal time when I visit such lake side forest area, but in winter time the number of these animals are not seen too much. I have seen many kinds of birds that prey fish from the water in some small riverside area but in this winter I have not seen them.

It is hard for the water animals compared to other animals as they can not find food from the water itself, as the water surface is frozen. Though winter is tough for all people but for these water animals winter becomes challenging for to fight with the rough season of the year.

I hope you enjoy my photos of these winter animals in the forzen rivers and lakeside area and these natural scenes are beautiful with the bright sunny surroundings in the wintertime. The view is beautiful from every angle, with the clean sky and the faded color of the trees and grass with naked branches in such a clear weather with the deep blue sky made the views so beautiful.
