AFRI-TUNES WEEK 170// SARKIN SALAMA BY KAESTRINGS// COVER BY @AKWASH360

Hello everyone!
Welcome to Afri-tunes Week 170. For this week’s rendition, I’ve chosen to do a cover of the song “Sarkin Salama,” originally performed by the Koinonia Worship Team and later covered by Minister Kaestrings. This song holds a special place in my heart because of its message, its melody, and its spiritual depth.

Sarkin Salama is a beautiful worship song delivered in Hausa, a Nigerian language rich in cultural expression. In Hausa, “Sarki” means King, and “Salama” means Peace. So essentially, the song is a powerful expression of reverence and adoration to “The King of Peace.” It is a call to bring our worship, praise, and thanksgiving to the One who truly deserves it, God Almighty, the giver of true peace.

Minister Kaestrings, who is well-known for his soulful worship and musical talent, did an excellent job on his version of the song. His voice carries the message with such grace and anointing that it instantly uplifts the listener. Personally, I’ve had this song on repeat for days because of how deeply it connects with my spirit. It’s soothing, inspirational, and leaves you in a state of reflection and gratitude.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I sincerely enjoyed doing this cover, and I truly hope that as you listen, it blesses your soul just like the original blessed mine.
