AFRITUNES WEEK 169 - WATARANA (YANZUN NE) - SONG COVER BY @RISHAGAMO
Hello and welcome to Afri-tunes week 169, my name is @rishagamo and in this week's concert i will be singing the cover of "Watarana (Yanzun Ne)" by Sir billy.
"Watarana" is a song that was written and sang in the Hausa language, a language that is prominent to the northern people of Nigeria. Watarana simply means someday while “Yanzun Ne” means it is now.
The song talks about the best time to praise God, saying that the best time or the time he is able to praise God is now that he is still alive because someday, he will be no more.
We tend to live or lives forgetting most of the time to take out time to praise and worship God, always busy for him but not too busy to chase after worldly possessions and vanities.
I was tested recently with an illness and I felt like all i needed to do that i have being missing is praising God and keep praising him that i might not have as much time i think i have here on earth and i need to honestly utilize my time here to praise God on a constant.
We should always remember to praise God in our free time or better still, make time to praise and worship God now that we are still living and breathing. We are creatures of worship, one of the reasons God created us is to worship and praise Him, it is part of the purpose of our creation and we should try our possible best to live upto expectations.
