Chillin at the lab, on a cold, Icy night, on da South Side!
Not another falling flake was in my sights. Although, there was still snow on the ground.
WORKIN'
Yes, just workin. Its the grind that keeps me alive. And if i want to buy more Hive, then i need to put in these hours. There's just no other way. Ive been doing this job for about 17 years now, its been about half my life, its kinda crazy to think about. Yet here I am, back in the lab, waiting on patients but it will be one of the cursed nights where some patients are not showing up.
So now i look for some things to take random pictures of....
And 1 of the 1st things that a patient see when they walk in.....
a wall of masks....
Because, this is just a demonstration, of the CPAP masks, that we use on some patients, when have whats known as Sleep Apnea. Which is basically when someone snores too much, and has a restricted breathing, which then leads to the person waking up too much from sleep.
So, to fix this bad snore and restriction, this pressure from the CPAP machine is one way to help.

Now, before I move on, might as well get a coffee going....which sounds like a Cinnamon Coffee Cup scenario but ill make a post there soon too.
The rest of the night here will be quiet and i must end the night too, because since we had 2 no shows out of 4 total patients, i will have to leave early. We did our setups, the 2 patients are sleeping now, my coworker will stay and finish.
Thats the life i suppose...but things are good.

It's always a little stressful ya, but somehow we keep pushing. Hive price is stressing us out 😆

I saw the news of the ice storms there in the USA. What about your area? Night duty for work is always scary, and without coffee, you can't imagine it. It's good that you're chilling at the lab. Just enjoy everything we have.

I have drove my car in some crazy situations, bad traffic, or just too much snow. My car now had 4 wheel drive so it is more capable. Hope you been good man, im gonna come visit your posts.
Your workplace is scary, your job is great making people sleep, wow that's awesome. I'm always sleeping so I don't think I need a sleep doctor

Greetings, friend. Tell me something: your job is to make people sleep, meaning they make you an appointment and you put them to sleep? Interesting. I didn't know there were jobs that let you sleep. In my country, they prescribe a pill and people fall asleep.
Hola mi Amiga. Yes, it is an appointment for a Sleep Test. Its called a sleep study. I put wires and cables, and sensors on the patient. The main reason is a lot of snoring and when people are consado or sueno hehe. Sometimes people do pills, claro, but thats not always fixing the problems.

I'm so glad everything is going well, man. Routine is really important. I've said this before. You only realize the value of something when you lose it. When my ear got blocked recently and I couldn't hear, I realized how wonderful my everyday life is.
