The Best Laid Plans of Hive and Men
Below is kind of a weird meme. Admittedly it's a little out of context. It amuses me and I need to make an occasional post with a meme like everyone else if I want more MEME tokens.
Recently I was contacted with a proposal to combine one of my Hive communities with another similar one. The other party wants to onboard members and other plans. Apparently a whole team with a marketing expert was going to be involved.
I suggested adding a long term goal of turning the combined community into a tribe with its own token. The person making the proposal to combine the communities claimed that idea had already been discussed but they "could not define a useful/innovative usecase besides using it to shop on druckado if it could be 'stabilized' somehow".
What's wrong with @druckado? I don't know. Maybe NFTs are a little too capitalistic or something according to the other party's team. I don't know. I am tokenizing memes on Hive. I think more communities should become tribes with their own token.
The other party came to me, I wasn't the one going to them with the proposal. If they can make it work without me then they didn't need me after all. That's simple enough logic.

I left it vague so the meaning can be either one. Interpret as you will. I had to do that because to express the meaning I would have intended I'd have to have included more of the Discord discussion. To create the meme I used the absolute minimum necessary and redacted the identifier to respect the other party's privacy.
I was sure those discord conversations belonged to Steinbeck. Then I found this poem from the Scottsman Robert Burns:

You´re simply a greedy idiot, thats why the team declined to work with you (my words!), besides: you´ve never been talking to @druckado at any time, this company is one of the involved ones, i´m involved there, too, but i don´t own it and my name here and on discord is @schlees !
And dude, you forgot to mention the point when you showed what kind of a greedy b***h (again, my words!) you are, which would be "point 3" of your demands, think that should also be statet out public, too, so people can understand, right?

It was my idea to talk with you to avoid strange situations running 2 communitys in case yours should be back active some day... not worth the effort, but at least we know exactly what kind of person/character we´re dealing with...
