Phillies win a super close game and win the series in Milwaukee! | NL East battle vs Marlins begins today

Yesterday was a fairly competitive game, it was clear neither team wanted to lose this series. Ranger Suárez is looking good late in this season and my worries about him lasting into the second half of the season are pretty much gone at this point! To pitch six scoreless innings in September IN Milwaukee is no easy task at all and Ranger did just that! Ranger pitching well is absolutely essential if the Phillies want to go deep in the playoffs so he's on track to do just that.

It was a 0-0 game for a long time until the Phillies trickled in singular runs in the 7th and 9th inning that eventually won them the game. Harrison Bader continues to look very good as he had a late hit and a super nice potentially home run saving catch in center field in the ninth. It was hard to say if it was going to be gone or not but it was extremely close. Jhoan Durán came in and locked up the win!

The Mets are still behind the Phillies by six games and are currently winning over the Reds so as the Phillies begin this series in Miami it's important the Phillies stay locked in. The Marlins just gave the Mets a ton of trouble a few days ago so, the Phils shouldn't take them lightly. The Marlins are very willing to create stress and chaos before 2025 ends!

Cristopher Sánchez seeks his 12th win! Baseball and football again, pretty nice!
