The Titans Defeated the Chargers 27-24 and it was GLORIOUS - My Late Reaction!

Once again, I write this post game post rather late. It has now been three days since the Titans fat, juicy, and satisfying victory over the Los Angeles Chargers and man, I've just been soaking it in!

FINALLY!!!!!

It's been about ten months since the Titans won a game. Those ten months were sad and agonizing.

The game against the Chargers did not start off too smoothly on Sunday, but it's not how you start, it's how you finish!!

The Titans were down 11-0 and the offense looked miserable. Tannehill was getting sacked, no real sign of life at all. But right on cue while the Titans NEEDED something to happen, something happened.

Immediately after the Chargers took their two possession lead, Tannehill threw a DEEP STRIKE to Treylon Burks. What a beautifully executed play all around. WOW. To think, Burks almost had a terrible injury in training camp. This is the type of offense the Titans are capable of!

Tannehill's arm strength is very underrated!! 70 YARD BOMB!

My gosh, this play brought me to LIFE!

KING HENRY pounded it in for the score and from then on this game became a GAME!

The offense as a whole was like a whole new team. So many contributors. Derrick was productive, and Tyjae Spears continues to shine. DeAndre Hopkins actually played and had a few decent catches.

The most improved player from the New Orleans game, and perhaps the player of the game was QB RYAN TANNEHILL!!

I may have emotionally expressed doubts here and there about the man, but I always have respect for Tannehill, and when he is on he can be dangerous. As much as I may have criticized him, I think I was pretty fair too. I did rank him #11 in my QB rankings!!!

Tannehill went 20-24 for 246 yards and two total touchdowns, one passing and one rushing. ZERO turnovers. SEVEN different players recorded receptions for the Titans.

In addition to Tannehill's deep connection to Burks, he also had a deep 49 yard pass to Chris Moore!! Tannehill's 12 yard touchdown run also had me out of my seat! It was a nifty option run and Tannehill kept it himself and looked as fast as he's ever been! People sleep on Tannehill's speed forever it seems. People really forget the man was a wide receiver LOL!!!

It's a long season, and I'm sure Tannehill may frustrate me down the line, but the man can play. I know everyone in mainstream sports media loves to doubt him, and really not even consider him a good QB, but I have eyes and my eyes tell me Tannehill is a quality QB.

I don't even know what to say, just a great quality win honestly. The Titans, other than the first quarter or so, looked pretty dang good against a playoff team that is supposed to be on the rise.

I've watched a lot of post game content over the past few days, and it's so funny listening to people bend their brain and try to understand why the Chargers lost. Plenty of shade and insults thrown at the Titans, disrespecting the roster consistently. It's annoying a bit, but also kind of funny. People can talk all they want, the Titans got the W!!! That W cannot be undone.

Fifteen games to go. I have no idea what this team is yet. They're 1-1, with a lot of new players and a new offense. I'm just here for the ride. Cleveland will be tough next week, they're a similarly built team as the Titans. But that's a post for later!

Still enjoying this win man, it's such a great feeling.

#TITANUP!!!
