RSS = Really Simple Syndication. It is sort of like a magazine subscription. Whenever you release a new episode/post the people who are subscribed automatically receive it. Just like if you are subscribed to a magazine you receive that magazine in the mail whenever it is published.

Yeah, I know ecency shows your RSS but I don't know how to do much with it myself.
