Have people changed their opinion about steemit and hive which was in the start?

Greetings friends!

When I joined Steemit in 2018, there had been a different environment. We were very serious about our blogs, posts and reputation score. There were many users who were bent on downvoting posts which they thought were not up to the mark. Then steemit forked into Hive. We were also the same at that time. Now, it seems to me that after so long, people have lost their interest on steemit and hive. They don't think that they cannot become rich from these blockchains. What do you think?

Some people have changed their opinion but always newcomers engage with hive blockchain. Some people just waste their money and time on some new web3 social network in the hope of getting big airdrop. But i think hive would be a great platform if the hive community make it more friendly and invite quality content creators, crypto influencers.
