Hello everyone, it’s your boy @akwash360. This is Hive Open Mic Week 273. In this week’s edition, I deem it fit to do a cover of the song ‘Our God Is Awesome’ by Pastor Charles Jenkins. The moment I heard the theme of the week, which is fireworks, this song was the first thing that came to my mind. At first, I asked myself how it is related, but I’ve come to the realization that He’s God of all. Even in the midst of fireworks, He’s still God, and He’s awesome. He’s a God that can move mountains and even do more.

This song has been instrumental in lighting up my spirit. Whenever I sing it, I begin to reflect on the awesome things He has done for me in the past. It reminds me of His love and mercy throughout the years.

I must say that the songwriter did an excellent job in writing and delivering such a meaningful song in this powerful manner. He and his entire team did amazingly well, and I highly commend their effort.
