Rising Star Meme #107 - Where's My Microscope?
Well, yes and no...
You see, one thing that occurred to me after opening like... 200 packs was that if I ever wanted to make it to the top (or at least the top 100), I'd have to open THOUSANDS of packs. And going over each and every one of them one by one, well, sounds like a pain.
Keeping Track
Well, I'm not abandoning it all at once, either.
The game keeps a good track of your past like... 80 or 90 packs and it makes everything a whole lot easier! (I doubt you'd be opening more than that every day haha)
You could find the list at:
"Withdraw / Deposit" => Bottom right of the page
If you're doing more than 80 or 90 packs at a time, then it's better to fire up an excel sheet or something and keep track of your packs that way. Would me more efficient and less dependent on other tools, y'know.
But even then, you wouldn't be looking into each pack separately! More like opening a dozen, updating your cards, and then checking and documenting the difference in the excel sheet (or at least, that's what I'd do, but I'm too lazy and just keep track of the increase in fans after each bulk opening)
Packs or Cards?
I had a meme prior to this discussing the same thing, but as I opened a 12-pack bunch today, I thought I'd share some ideas on what was inside:
The details
You could add up the stats, but those 12 packs netted me ~1300-1400 Fans, which I believe to be high considering that I only got Rares (13 of them) and most of them had +100 Fans (except two which were cards with more skills than fanss - 50Fans/150Skills) and one that was an instrument.
If you do the math, it would be 80-100 STARBITS per fan which is higher than the market's ~60 floor - putting the packs at a disadvantage!
Let's not forget that there were NO Epics or Legendaries, but in return, almost all Rares were people cards! So, yeah... kinda like a lottery ticket (which I can't get enough of xD)
The instrument wasn't even my specialty, so that's a bummer as well (thought I'd mention it as well :D)
So, here was my pack, hope that helped :)
Stay safe and don't forget to document your progress
Cheers~

I wanted to be brave enough to buy packs. I always say that I'll open then, but end up buying singles in the secondary market LOL
!1UP
I mean, that's the logical thing to do considering the prices😅
I always get tempted to try my luck for a Legendary... but none yet :(
Let's challenge each other to buy packs in bundles to save big. If you win or I win in both cases we will save BIG.
