Rising Star Meme #4 - UNMUTE IT!!!

I thought this had to be said, so here we are with today's meme:

For those who don't know

Rising Star Radio is that bar you see at the bottom of the game:

It indicates the track currently being played.

Now

Most players usually turn that off or mute the website in its entirety, some because they think it's loud, others turn it off since (well at least when I first joined and was spamming illegal busking) it plays that "Hey brother can you spare a dime..." song. (It was cool for the first few times, but it got repetitive) Tho, I listen to it from time to time - got that nostalgic feeling when I'd first joined Hive.

But that's not all. It actually plays some super decent music that I've recently fallen in love with.

I was one of the people who muted it in the beginning and then forgot to unmute it, or maybe it was because of the fact that I thought that song was the only song that was gonna play all the time - what a silly thing.

Until I unmuted it by accident and realized that it playing something else. It was so good that I decided to unmute the site permanently and just pause the song whenever I need to work, other than that it's just some banger playing in the background.

For those wondering what the song was.

Conclusion

I'm not saying that they're the best songs out there in the world, but some are definitely gems that are waiting to be found. Also, it's one point of Rising Star to give independent musicians a stepping stone or some sort of spotlight for them to be seen, so let's help them achieve that. (Also free music for us hehe~)

Bonus song

Just 2 days ago I was listening to the Rising Star Radio when I found a cool song playing in the background. I really recommend checking it out.

By @nupulse if anyone's wondering :)

Hunt his card down, boys. (11/25 left) :D

Stay safe and keep rising, folks. And more importantly, have fun.

I've tried making a web app before but got burnt out and quit. (not game-centered and also I was single-handed on back and front plus server stuff)

As for game development, I've fiddled around with Unity before and I know some basics about game development, but nothing too serious. Until I decided to make a decentralized game and I'm currently doing general research to get the hang of everything as a whole. The game (or rather games) is in its "conceptual" state at the moment.

The biggest obstacle as of now is the Hive Engine side of the project and the lack of detailed/down-to-earth docs for it. Material for game dev is abundant and shouldn't be that steep... at least I'm trying to keep it that way.😅
