If all things were equal, the rewards being taken back from those that took them in the first place through 'abuse' going to the highest earners would be poetic, but looking at the way this centralizes rewards even more to the highest powered accounts in the hive one has to wonder if that is the best policy.
It looks like the math has moved around a little since the last time I looked.
1000mv = 538,259hp giving a 15.37htu vote.
Of the ~14,000 daily transacting accounts, only 35 qualify for exclusion under the 15htu vote limit.
Not all of those are active.
I thought things looked better, I'm glad I took the time to correct the numbers.
It doesn't answer how many of the first million accounts are sockpuppets of the earliest adopters, but it gives us a public accounting to those that nita s'more enough to still be splashing around in the pool intended for attracting network effects to the hive.
Not alot can be done about that, just buy more hive while you still can.
The more we buy, the less is available to be lorded over us by those with the most.
At some point equilibrium will be reached and those wanting to get in, but refusing to reward some of the largest holders for personal reasons, will see the dilution effect of the inflation has had its effect, and hive will be a safe harbor for their largess.
In theory, at least.
If you haven't noticed, the rewards in terms of hive are already shrinking.
When hive was .08usd we were getting much more hive for our htu's.
It's a natural limiting effect built into the code.
Higher price, lower influence per dollar spent.
5usd was about the limit of my willingness to buy.
We are a long ways from that, so buy it while you still can.
