If you were not aware, they pledge them as collateral for their own loans.

You buy a share and one ounce of metal goes into a vault.

Everything is all fine and good until the crooks finally tip over the apple cart.
You find out that your 401k is collateral to billion dollar bets that now can't be paid.

So sad.

You trusted liars and thieves with your financial future.

The highest sacrament in the practice of crapitalism is money for nothing.
Isn't that why you trused your assets to a third party?
Because they promised you more money for no effort on your part?

Of course it is.

Now, before you get left holding the 401k bag, you can get those made so that you are the custodian of your own assets.
You can use your 401k to buy metal assets and hold them in your own possession.
Thereby eliminating all third party risk.

3rd party risk in an empire built on lies is 100%, at some point.
When you see the silver price not get manipulated down on delivery day, then you will know it is too late for you to catch the tidal wave of truth coming back to the metals markets.
