Not everybody want's their converstations forever etched into a blockchain.
They want to have a less formal conversation.

Nothing wrong with that.
I tend to agree.

Hive is a social platform.
You have to join the conversations, if you want to be part of the community.

You don't have to, of course, but if you want to become better known to the group, joining the conversations is one way of doing that.

Now, you could suggest other platfroms rather than discord.
Not everybody likes that it is web2.0.

I agree with that, so I have opened the Hive Discordiant Room for folks that want an alternative to being tracked by discord.

But, honestly, I doubt you change many people's habits, they either continue on discord, or bust.
Much like many of the hive users reject using the various hive forks.

You have to decide for you, dear reader.
