Have you automated your rewards claiming?
I know there are services that will do that for the non-coders amongst us.
I look at a lot of people's wallets to check for this.
I see lots of people claiming tiny rewards every hour or two.
This bloats the chain.
Do they need their money soooo bad that they can't wait to claim it the next time they login?
I know chain bloat isn't the problem that it once was, but at some point claiming .001 rewards is too much.
IF you are doing this, please consider stopping your bot.
Claim your rewards when you get back.
This will slow the bloat of the chain and speed the playbacks for hardforks.
It will also help the api node operators, they are the ones that have to eat the bloat daily.
That is all, for now, you may resume your otherwise humdrum day.
To contest the characterization of your day as humdrum, make a post of your own explaining why your day is not humdrum and ping me, eh?

I cannot tell a lie, my day is humdrum and I cannot entertain you as to otherwise. So humdrum in fact, that I don't generally even remember to collect rewards until that popup comes up when I logon.
I've seen the popup.
Humdrum is a state of mind, like happiness it has to found within.
Not all of us get the opportunity, too busy with other things, mostly.

Ah, the nuances of the English language. All but being lost, these days. Mundane is probably a better description.
One thing that would help me would be if layer 2 tokens that I receive are automatically staked. I do usually once a day stake small amounts. Consider it OCD on seeing it there and thinking it should be in the other column.
I would be fine with all my layer 2 tokens being staked immediately. If I ever want to sell them I can always choose to unstake them but I have actually never done that for layer 2 tokens yet.
If you know a way to have my rewards always be staked automatically (like #vyb does) then I'd be interested in that.
Hivetasks.com will let you stake them all in one go, if that is any help.
It is in the balances tab.
I don't know of any other ways.

IT does seem like it'd be nice to use. It is not working with my password Private Active key... Same key I use other places. Just tells me missing authority over and over again.
Yeah, you'd probably have to use your active key to move money.
I use keychain, it's pretty seamless with that.

I'm not confident enough to put my active key into anything I don't have to, not since keychain came about.

Well, I never thought of auto-claiming. Usually try to claim them once a day or whenever a bigger reward occurs.
I generally only do it once a day, but if I see it's over 1hbd I usually claim those, but what I'm seeing is people with dozens of claims a day for tiny amounts.
I guess they really, really need their munies.
