Who gives meaning/consequence to the term treason?
Who judges whether the service has been faithful and honest?
Clearly nobody will do it if it means losing their jobs/status, oath or no oath.
Crapitalism has shown that eating is more important to most people than maintaining an impeccable reputation of honor.
That leaves the rest of us to pick up this dropped ball of a republic.
The people that no longer hold 'official' positions with the gov't, but still respect the promise to defend the constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic.
Your oath was to no gov't, not the one we had then, and not the one we have now.

A simple way that anybody can do that is to hoard your coins.
