First Hive Challenges | Newbies Should Avoid
Looking back on when I joined Hive, about two months ago, what I thought that blogging on Hive is all about, is different from what I discovered after joining. I thought Hive block chain was all about writings post, sharing of my thoughts and publishing them. I never knew that one of the best ways to create high quality blogs is to used good quality images for my blog posts.
Although, when I first joined Hive, I was determined to always create a quality post and Even for me to grow very fast, I set up a goal of making a post per day. But using quality image took me a while to understand the vital roles that it play in my content.
However, I always thought I was making high quality posts, after every post I always discovered that my post wasn't getting as many rewards as I thought I should have. But as times goes on, it becomes so obvious to me that I'm not making high quality post as a result of the low quality images which I'm using for my content. The image I'm using is either always blunt or unattractive image.
It took me a while for me to realized that adding quality images on post helps me to grasp the attention of my readers and make my post look very attractive for the reader to engage with. I never knew that image also plays an important role when it comes to blogging. I noticed that when I started using good quality image, my post always had more value.
As time went on, I discovered that using good quality image didn't only benefit me in term of the income that meant come's in but also beautify the Hive ecosystem as a whole. In such a way that it always triggers my mind or people's minds to always comes back to check out some new beautiful pictures in the Hive ecosystem.
I can remember the day my post was first mute on Hive. I never knew that each community had it's own rules and regulations. It took me a while before I knew that's not advisable to just entered any community on Hive and make a post, without reading their rules and regulations.
Another things, that took me awhile to understand, is the important of engaging on other people's post. This can be done by either up-voting, comment or Re-blogging other user content. I thought it wasn't an important thing to carry out on a daily basis, so I always make a post and leave the very moment I publish the post.
As time went on, I decided to start engaging on other people post and I discovered that engaging on other people post, helps me to create more audience to my post, and it's also bring about new followers.
In conclusion, using good quality image on your post, reading of community rules and regulations and the act of engaging on other people's post is an important thing to carry out, if you want to be successful on Hiveblog.
Thanks for your time on my blog!.

We can't know everything immediately after we step into the blockchain especially when we don't have a guide. It takes time and when we eventually learn how things are done, it becomes part of us.
You learned your lessons and it made you a better hiver, reading community rules is very important. Keep up the good work.
