The Last Easter Eggs - My FOOD PORN Photography Contest Entry

Wednesday I had discovered the new FOOD PORN Community Photo Contest. Easter egg? Oh! Was my first thought, because I had already reported about Easter and our Easter eggs.
But then I read the contest post from @bitandi and got inspiration. It was time for breakfast anyway, so I could combine it with a photo session and show you how the penultimate Easter egg was eaten.
Mittwoch hatte ich den neuen FOOD PORN Community Foto Contest entdeckt. Oster Ei? Oh! War mein erster Gedanke, denn ich hatte ja schon über Ostern und unsere Ostereier berichtet.
Doch dann kam über den Contest Post von @bitandi die Inspiration. Es war ohnehin gerade Zeit für Frühstück, also konnte ich das gleich wunderbar mit einer Foto Session verbinden und euch zeigen, wie das vor-vor-letzte Oster Ei verspeist wurde.

So quickly sighted, how many Easter eggs are still in the basket and then fetched fresh chives from the terrace...
Also schnell mal gesichtet, wieviele Ostereier sind noch im Körbchen und dann frischen Schnittlauch von der Terrasse geholt...

In addition, small cocktail tomatoes, some Easter ham, bread, butter and tea. And off we went with the photo session :-)
Dazu noch kleine Cocktail Tomaten, etwas Osterschinken, Brot, Butter und Tee. Und los ging es mit der Foto Session :-)

Mjam, so many delicious ingredients, my mouth was already watering, but for now the photos had priority. This ancient egg slicer is by the way a brilliant tool when it comes to thin regular egg slices.
Mjam, so viele lecker Zutaten, mir lief schon das Wasser im Mund zusammen, aber vorerst hatten die Fotos Vorrang. Dieser uralte Eierschneider ist übrigens ein geniales Hilfsmittel wenn es um dünne regelmässige Ei Scheiben geht.

The first bread with the tomatoes was finally ready and I had to eat it right then so I had room for the second bread ;-)
Das erste Brot mit den Tomaten war endlich fertig und ich musste es dann auch gleich aufessen, damit ich Platz für das zweite Brot hatte ;-)

Then here were only two left :-) And also these were now already eaten by the family in the course of the week.
Da waren es nur noch Zwei :-) Und auch diese wurden im Laufe der Woche schon von der Familie verspeist.

Today is already the "little Easter Sunday" and Easter is over for us. Tomorrow I will also remove my Easter bush and pack the painted eggs well, so that I can unpack them next year in one piece.
Heute ist ja schon der "kleine Ostersonntag" und Ostern ist für uns damit vorbei. Morgen werde ich auch meinen Osterstrauch entfernen und die bemalten Eier gut verpacken, damit ich sie nächstes Jahr wieder heil auspacken kann.

The chocolate Easter bunny has long been eaten up ;-) but a few small chocolate eggs I still have left.
Der Schoko Osterhase ist schon lange aufgegessen ;-) aber ein paar kleine Schokolade Eier habe ich noch übrig.

What remains is this small so-called "palm bush". These are consecrated one week before Easter on Palm Sunday in the churches and then remain throughout the year in the houses to bring luck.
Was bleibt, das ist dieser kleine sogenannte "Palm Busch". Diese werden eine Woche vor Ostern am Palmsonntag in den Kirchen geweiht und bleiben dann das ganze Jahr über in den Häusern um Glück zu bringen.
