Similar to my interest in tribe tokens, tipping tokes, and all the other tokens on the Hive Engine. I'm growing similar interest in the token ecosystem available on the Binance Smart Chain.

As a person who's just getting into BNB, when looking at different projects, I get the feeling that the Binance Smart Chain crypto home of defi and meme tokens!

For the longest, I thought that meme coins were just pointless and one of the dumbest parts of crypto.

But I’m finding out, that’s just the story that my twitter feed painted of meme tokens…

The more I take a look into what's going on, the more I'm starting to feel like meme tokens comparable to some of our tribe tokens here on the hive-engine. Which I know sounds crazy but hear me out...

• A lot of our tribe tokens are centered around a shared idea or interest of the people in that community. With meme tokens that shared interest is the meme itself

• A lot of our tribe tokens have their own tagging system within Hive. And if you search Twitter for the hashtag of different meme tokens, you'll see that there is definitely a tag system in place.

• Many of our tribe tokens actively work to make their respective platforms better for their users by adding features and engaging the community over time. Meme token projects also do things like build nft marketplaces, build defi platforms, build games, and raise funds for charity.

• Our meme tokens all have different tokenomics that are different than the hive platform that they live on. Meme tokens also have different token economics with some offering staking, others being deflationary reflection tokens and other interesting token features that aren't active on the BNB token.

• I'm finding that both tribal tokens and meme tokens are backed by really great communities of real people.

• And last both Hive tribe tokens and meme tokens have members of their community that shares awesome content and participates in moving the project forward in whatever way they can.

I don't actually hold any meme tokens myself, but just the way my brain saw some connections there, I understand the appeal.

And just because I don't have any meme tokens now doesn't mean I won't be a meme token millionaire moon boy sometime in the future. You just never know.

None of what I say is financial advice at all, not telling you to go buy any meme tokens, in fact, I think meme tokens would be a pretty bad thing to FOMO into.

But if you're looking to be part of a fun community and learn about decentralized projects and what they can accomplish, then investing time into meme tokens may not be a bad idea...
