A Big Hello to all WOO Fans! 🥳🥳🥳 WOO!
The title of the video says it all. Everything Could Go Wrong. 😱 And yet, in true wrestling fashion, the story’s heart lies in the opposite, in the hope that somehow, things will go right. Watching Perry Saturn confront his fears before surgery reminded me why WOO matters. Because it gives space for stories that remind us of the fight after the fight.

Here's My Main Reflections Are On This:
Perry’s honesty about putting the surgery off because of painkiller policies reveals how deep the struggle goes. It’s not just physical pain. It’s bureaucratic, emotional, psychological. Wrestlers aren’t superheroes but they’re survivors of broken systems.
His reflection about getting older — “I see everything different now”. This speaks to the evolution of his character not just as a performer, but as a man. I'm sure those of us who've grown quite a bit older and more mature can attest to this same idea too.
WOO captures this transformation beautifully. The production doesn’t glamorize pain. It respects it.
The way Saturn connects his fear to real life loss (his partner John dying from post surgery infection) adds weight that no storyline could match.
What I find most inspiring is his continued humour. 🤣 Even facing surgery, he jokes about the mission being “impossible.” That’s old school toughness mixed with a lifetime of entertainment instincts.
@Bookerman’s community call brings the Hive and WOO ecosystem together. It’s an emotional push: not just to click and watch, but to witness. To keep the flame alive for a man who gave his body for our entertainment.
