Hello to any of my readers and "Dear (weekly) Diary" 😜

This week's Splinterlands Social Media Challenge seems to line up with my diary entries in a way. My prediction about the re-emergence of the old "Share Your Battle" challenges from last week seem to be wrong though. However, I guess at the end of it all, most of our remarkable moments in Splinterlands will inevitably be linked to battles anyway.

On a sidenote, after the sudden crash of BTC prices last week due to the "Sell the News" event after the ETF launches, prices seem to have stabilized again. Let's hope this proves to be true for Hive and SPS too! 😉

A brief introduction before I start though...

Good Day to all Splinterlands players! (and people of HIVE! 😜) I've made it a point to blog about my weekly progress and experiences in Splinterlands/HIVE in my "weekly diary". Splinterlands & HIVE are what I'd consider to be my entry point into the World of Crypto, and I intend to use this as a means to look back on the path I've taken in the years ahead.⏳⏳⏳

This is now the 114th consecutive week writing in my Diary (of sorts) detailing my Splinterlands Journey ever since I started this game. I talk about what has gone on my personal Splinterlands playing experience, my weekly Guild Brawl Reports, and also any Splinterlands ingame news. 🎉🥳🎊

⚔️🛡️My Battle Showcase🛡️⚔️

Let me present a battle I fought in the past in which I used the Diemonshark. My opponent used the LIFE splinter. At first glance, seeing a lineup with 6 cards VS my 3, and with high levels than me, I thought I was doomed. What chance did I have against someone who clearly out levelled me completely? 😱

I would say that the Diemonshark was DEFINITELY the MVP of this match having single handedly turned the tide of battle. It's TRAMPLE ability allowed it to combine terrifyingly well with the STAMPEDE ruleset! 🏆🏆🏆

As you can see, my opponent used an entire array of low cost units with a bunch of ranged units behind to deal the bulk of his DPS. Combined with his choice of Summoner, the General Sloan, this would have meant doom and devastation for my armies!

The battle started out looking like it was already his game. First of all, his summoner and all his cards were at a much high level. At such low mana restrictions, he was able to field a swarm of units to overwhelm me - What chance could I possibly have? 😱 BUT the minute the battle started, it soon became obvious I was completely wrong!

One of the key points in this game was the fact that I attacked first. Thanks to my Summoner Kelyda Frendul's speed boost and the higher speed of the Diemonshark, it ensured that I would be making the first move (or should I say MOVES? 😁).

The STAMPEDE ability allowed my Diemonshark to continuing TRAMPLING and killing off every until in the opponents team in just that one attack! Before my turn was done, the game was already over! Only a helpless ranged unit was left behind unable to attack at all!

This was truly an eye opener!

In what must be a speed record, the Diemonshark made short work of the opponent's team! Even though I had a huge scare at the start at the sight of my opponent's team, the ridiculous continuous strong of attacks and kills from the Diemonshark proved to be the edge I needed to eventually overpower my opponent. 💪🏻

💭🧐💭Ending Thoughts💭🧐💭

I definitely can appreciate Diemonshark and it's strengths. This is one of those cards which are very strong if surrounded with the proper team. The role it brings to the battlefield will give a player the edge in squeezing out every tiny advantage to get the win. 👍🏻 It's abilities, in the right situation, can lead to a blistering and unstoppable string of attacks which will clear the battlefield in an instant!
