How To Make A Meme With Little Skill And Effort
With the emergence of HiveMe.me as one of the Top 500 tribes on Hive everyone is wondering how to get in on the act and start earning some sweet sweet MEME. Especially with @rentmoney doubling your MEME purchases!
But you might be thinking making a meme requires artistic skill, highly evolved IT skills, and special software.
Well I'm here to tell you that none of that is true!
In the old days making a meme may have been a bit harder, but now you can whip out a meme and post in on HiveMe.me in just a couple of minutes with just your browser and a little bit of imagination.
Step 1. Go to Imgflip.com
Step 2. Click "Create Meme"
Step 3. Find a meme template you like (or go here for the full list)
Step 4. Fill in the hilarious text for your meme
Step 5. Click generate meme. And you are done!
Now you can download your meme and upload it to HiveMe.me, or do like I do, and use the free Window's Snipper tool to grab a snip of image and just paste it in. Super fast and easy.

As for my heavy investment: The token cost was low and the tribe newly created. I always wanted to get in on the ground floor of a new tribe and I seen the potential that a MEME tribe could bring. Everyone on the internet has either seen or used a MEME so as far as niche's goes, the owner of the MEME tribe picked a good one. Only time will tell if the token and tribe will be a financial success.
Good job! And you got in at a good price. I started picking up some a few weeks ago, but wish I'd bought more. Loving the APR and price moving up.
I've seen a few other tribes where the initial prices are the all time highs for the token. Where as here it looks like the initial price was the floor.

I agree, the majority of tribe tokens start at ATH prices and then dip. There's not much fun in buying high and selling low to enrich those who hold the majority of the token on opening day. Hopefully the MEME community can work together to build MEME up slowly so its price steadily increases at a reasonable and sustainable rate.

One thing to add: Some of the templates on Imgflip.com are copyrighted so it's not recommended to mint them as NFTs. Using imgflip.com to make memes for posts should be fine in most cases. Presumably if the copyright owners didn't want the images memed they'd have the images removed under imgflip's Terms of Use.
Oh, thanks for that info. I didn't realize that. Are you aware of any other sources that aren't copyrighted that are good starting points for meme NFTs?
I would recommend the Openverse search engine. Select images in the drop down box by the search bar.
