The Stranger in the Coffee Shop

An entry for the Spill the Beans challenge this week, with just a few hours left before its too late to submit. Cheers to all the Coffee lovers out there, and to the Hive Fam.

Option 1

Its a nice day, and i just woke up, and have the day off from work. What better than to take a walk down the street to hit up one of my favorite coffee shops where theres that really cute barista, that usually works on friday afternoons. Ive seen her there a few times, and have been building up the courage to act right and let her know that i might be interested in meeting outside of the cafe one day.

Before i can think too far ahead, let me remember to stay cool, and as i get closer to the Cafe, its busy as usual. The weather is nice and theres plenty of people out chillin, n relaxin.

The smell of coffee beans permeates the air, and the smell invigorates me, almost makes me feel alive, as it introduces memories from the past related to the lovely smell of coffee.

As i walk into the entrance, there she is, but theres a mysterious look in her eyes. I thought she would recognize me, but thats ok. Its busy, and serving coffee is a hustle, and im just a duck in the pond, one of many ducks.

The line moves forward, and im a Cappuccino kind of person. A simple order, Large, with sugar. Its been a routine and as the line shortens i get to the counter and try to think of a good intro to put out there, as her cuteness melts my heart. But she cant know yet, that my heart melts, so im cool and calm.

Hey there lady, i see youre rockin the cafe, ill have the usual and....

The USUAL? I was like yeah, but right away i realize she acts like im a stranger never seen before. I said yeah, you know, Cappuccino, Large with sugar, and she says ohhhh.

I then realized i just gave myself a fresh haircut, so i say HEY, you remember im the guy that usually stops by on fridays. I noticed your energy and i like the way you dish out those coffee drinks.

She says oh, your fresh cut had me fooled, and i like it. As she smiled, and handed me my drink, i gave a smile back. Like a lone ranger, the mysterious stanger, i decided and made my way back out of the Cafe to continue on.

I did give myself a recent haircut, very short, and i suppose i do look a little different.

Tonights Coffee

Im at my same old spot at work (yaaaay). Is what it is, as i build towards more freedom. On my last bag of this Ranforest blend coffee that im about to brew. Same ol Dunkin creamer thats left by my coworker. Let er brew.

This next picture is just me sippin, and im not trying to disgrace this coffee with a straw so i apologize. It helps keep my tongue from getting irritated by the acidity of the coffee, i dont quite know why it happens.

Anyways, thanks to my followers, and any new followers are welcome, im glad to return the favor.
