For the past three months, my friend has been inviting me to her wedding every day she calls to remain at her wedding.

Am I this kind of human that loves people company? I told one of my friends that she would go with me to the wedding, and she accepted.

Finally, the long-awaited day was here. I dressed up with a little makeup; my friend was already waiting for me at the bus stop.

Thanks to God, there was no traffic because I can't stand Lagos traffic. Today we got to the venue, and the place was so beautiful that they ushered us in and gave us seats to sit in.

The event was wow, there was much to eat and drink, and the bride was looking beautiful. Immediately, the bride saw me and waved to me. I went and met her and danced with her before heading back to my seat.

She told the ushers and the people serving food that they should give me and my friends whatever we want.

I never knew that my friend wanted to kill herself with food. Firstly, she served us some chops before they started sharing food; every food that passed, she would carry. I was so shocked at her belief. I didn't know of this, and I told her to calm down. She is embarrassing us. Why is she acting like someone who has not eaten for days?

I warn her that she will embarrass herself, and I will not hesitate to laugh at her. Of course, there is a whole lot to eat within two hours. She told me that she wanted to use the restroom. I started laughing at her because I couldn't hold the laugh. I warned her of the upset.

After using the restroom, she came back to her seat, and before she could know it, she ran back to the restroom. At this point, all eyes were on her. Most of the people that heard when I was warning her joined in laughing at her.

I felt for her, but I couldn't stop laughing. I warn her, but she failed to listen.

We have to leave the event on time and book a cab because of her so that she will not mess herself up. Luckily for her, there was no traffic on the road,, an I didn't say goodbye to the bride.

As soon as the cab driver dropped us off, she dashed inside to use the restroom.

For the fact that, you went to dance with the bride, she will be happy that you come to her marriage, it's always a happy thing to have the people that we love watching us on a happy day of our life, do not mind the friend that accompany you, she wanted to embarrass herself with food, it was good you left with her, so that she doesn't embarrassed herself.

Awoof dey rear belly, it's bad sometimes to use things the way we see it. You friend took advantage of the surplus food and it backfired.

I do that in those days because it's one of our surest means of surviving in school.

Lol! I do see that a lot. In both burials and wedding ceremonies. People will want to have a taste of every food even if it means wasting the food.

In as much as we like food especially party food, we should be careful. Your friend should have asked for take away party pack to put some foods or Avoid eating some of the food.

LoL!!! Some people don't just know hoe to control their appetite for food. That's very embarrassing honestly. She thank God they even have a rest room there.

Hmmm she would have eaten the whole place up, lolzzz am glad toilets are being made. Thank God she didn't embarrass herself that much during the party. 😀

That must have been such a terrible situation for her. I guess that it's a price to pay for that level of gluttony?
Either way, I'm sure she learnt her lesson afterwards.
