Meme Coin Summer Portfolio Week 10 | Finding New Low-Cap Gem!!
It was another very interesting week in the Memecoins with the narrative of Celebs coming in creating their own tokens. Cat Season also seems to be somewhat in a dip while I did manage to get in on what I believe could be a new gem that does well going forward.
The trend continued and most of the new top-trending Solana coins on volume a week later collapsed. Looking at last week (Link), Slothana did -40%, Zack Morris did -60%, Solana Summer Did -73%, PJ did -82%
Based on this trend, you don't want to ape in this week on Timeless Davido (0.002534$), Mother Iggy (0.008226$), Jenner (0.00625$), catfrogdogshark (0.01474$), Beer (0.0001552$), Bazinga (0.02036$), Walter (0.01369$), Oppie (0.003125$). It would always be that some of these new celeb coins end up doing really well but the risk remains high. Instead, I believe it's better to get into more established coins when there is no hype or new coins at the first real selloff.
New Low-Cap Gem Winner!
I'm always keeping an eye out on potential new coins that are cheap and could get big but they are very hard to come by. Last week, however, I managed to get in on one of them (Donke) where it all kind of clicked. I spotted it just 4 days ago when it was talked about on one of the Memecoin Youtube Channels that I follow (Link)
It very much reminds me of other projects that tend to do well with original art like Peng (54M+) which kind of copied the Pudgy Penguin Narrative, Roost (30M) which kind of wants to be an alternative for Brett, and most of all Ponke (205M) which Donke kind of copies giving a narrative for people who 'missed out on Ponke' to get into something much cheaper with way more upside potential. The team behind it seems solid, and the community seems to grow stronger. most of all, the chart is actually looking promising with an initial quick pump and dump to be followed by a higher high afterward and a higher low sideways trend where the marketcap was around 300k-400k which is where I bought in with the intion to hold most of my bag for a while. I did run up as high as 0.0438$ giving it 1000% gains but it didn't manage to push higher and there is now somewhat of another selloff. I believe this could put it in a new sideways accumulation zone before potentially another higher high.

In total, I put 858$ into in and only took 253$ in profit while at some point my bag was worth 7000$+. So at the moment I have just 605$ in risk while the bag I still hold is worth 2307$. My intention is to keep what I have and slowly take profit in case there is another pump.
If I didn't own it already, I would ape into it now.
Previous Week Watchlist & Buys!
I highlighted 3 coins that I was watching last week (Link). Boden I bough 1000 Extra and it did seem to bounced from the bottom Supportline, CAT did the same and I increased my bags there at 2.45$ price adding 80 more coins bringing my total at 180. I did sell my CatGPT for DONKE and off course afterward it started moving after being sideways for a long time. The idea was to buy it back later but these plans rarely tend to work even though right now I could buy back way more.
New Week Watchlist!
HARAMBE
One of the coins I have had on my watchlist for a while is Harambe and lately it's been getting more attention with even Elon Musk mention Harambe
At some point there could be an "Ape Season" like there was a Cat Season. What I don't like is that Harambe didn't set a higher high. however, if the current uptrend line holds I might but some and otherwise I'm waiting to reach the bottom of the sideways range or for it to range sideways for a while above that.
HAPPICAT
Cat season seems to be over right now which made Happicap which previously set a higher high drop a lot in the past weeks. What it looks like is that soon it could get into a sideways range with a not so unlikely scenario of there being another hype pump at some moment if Cat Season returns. I own just 50k coins worth 88$ right now and might double my holdings and maybe even some more.
Last Week Results
Aside from getting in on DONKE which did well even though I should have taken the money now getting back in lower (always easier said than done) there were some big winners with Brett increasing near 100%, Maneki also continues to do well and Peng saw a big move up. The biggest lowers were Roost (-43%) which I might buy a bit more of, Benji (-45%), & Happi (-60%) while Anon seems quite dead (-49%) and I have no real intentions to add on that one.
Current Holdings
The volatility is extremely high in these coins as the 2330$ I updated the Table below with just minutes later now is 3074$. I did break above my target Portfolio balance of 10k Dollars actually crushing it and sitting at 14252$. So far I believe I put somewhere between 6k and 8k into it and had 2 major winners with USUG and DONKE which did many multiples. The idea from here on out is to do some more trading and if I want to buy something new I will have to sell something else. If things continue to go well, I will slowly start taking some profit out possibly into Gamblefi (which is the complete opposite of stable prices and real fundamentals as those platforms have earnings) so I can continue having earned back what I put in.

There is no guarantee that things will continue to go well and I'm very much aware there could easily be a 60%+ drop in value over the course of the week. However I remain positive and believe it's quite possible to keep growing at a crazy rate from here on out taking the ups and downs that come with gambling on memecoins.

Conclusion
I'm still having plenty of fun with these Memecoins and I will see how ith continues to evolve after now reaching my overall portfolio value of 10k+. A week is an eternity in memecoin world so I'll be back in 7 days with the next update...Posted Using InLeo Alpha
Sheesh dude you are killing with these memes coins! No wonder we not seeing the masses jumping into NFTs and Web 3.0 games when they can get their dopamine hits from meme coins.
Exactly, I believe it will become a massive feedback loop where everyone starts sharing their gains which get more people into it increasing the bubble while nobody is interested in Regular altcoins as they are too boring. It's crazy how society has shifted to a faster and faster pace. Memecoins perfectly play into this.
The idea though is to shift possible earnings slowly but surely in projects with actual fundamentals. Then again, for all I know everything comes crashing down with the portfolio looking bloody red next week. I guess only time will tell but so far I'm really glad that I managed to adjust my mindset toward these coins.
