Meme Coin Summer Portfolio Week 3 | Buying The Dip !

I finally flipped a switch after being someone who cares about fundamentals in crypto and started to get into Meme Coins with a small % of my Overall portfolio trying to play this game and see how it goes. These are weekly update posts in what I believe could be a Meme Coin Summer...

Buying The Dip & Chickening Out!

There was somewhat of a dip at some point in the memecoin market and some of the ones that I'm holding. I did both re-invest some of the profit that I had taken and also put a bit more funds into the base chain. All this while keeping an eye out on possible new memes to add. One of those which I bought 90$ of was FKETH (Fuck Eth) on Solana which had a <500k market cap seeing the joke how many people including myself dislike Ethereum for the high fees. However, I backed down as this was another token that I bought with mainly greed in mind and no research at all and sold at 10$ profit. Off course after that it started pumping and now it's at a 5M Market Cap.

This was also the only new token that I somewhat took interest in.

Current Holdings

Usug was my big winner in week 2 which I took 60% profit on with an eye to keep what I had left and take more profit in case it reached a 10M Market cap. However, it was not able to keep up the momentum and fell back again with a big drop. I will hold on my position in the hope for it to have a pump again at some point.

BODEN has been performing really well and continues to always be in the coins with most volume, the marketcap by now is 600 Million and I anticipate it as a matte of time before it reaches 1 Billion. Tremp at just 64 Million right now is lagging way behind and it also just is less funny while there are many more Trump related meme coins. Both coins kind of live hand in hand and I expect money to come into Tremp at some point just because of that. I added 100 Tremp to my bag now making them equal in number of coins.

I also continued to slowly but surely add to my WIF bag which can be seen as the main and dominant meme on the Solana Chain. I added a total of 40 WIF getting my bad to 160 in total.

So far the idea of Swifties coming in and buying Taylor Swift's Cat Benji also with potentially some more exposure on the upcoming album release isn't really working out as hoped. It also looks like their Twitter was suspended but from what I'm reading they are working on it to get it back. One of the bigger holder dumped which might not be a bad thing as it evens things out. I'm down quite a bit on this one cost-averaging on the way down. The market cap now is below 1M and I do consider my bag filled without any intention to add more hoping at some point it will recover.

Peng is one I should have added some more on but didn't as it recovered quite some this week.

These 2 remain longshots I don't expect much from and they didn't do all too much this week sitting at just a 131k and 200k marketcap. These kind of tokens pretty much look really bad until they don't anymore.

The VCAT coin also remains on that is a black hole where I continue to add on as I do like the fact that the coin icon vibes in the wallet. MEW I should have bought but the already big market cap scares me. I also at some point last week bought Ponke around 50$ mainly because I really liked the chart which is showing higher highs and a consolidation right now.

BASE Chain Meme Coins

I added on some of my base position, especially on ROOST which seems to have a leadership and community and I'm willing to just ride it out for a while regardless if it goes up or down. I also added a tiny bit of Basenji mostly because Ivan On Tech continues to talk about it and it reminds me when he called Pudgy Penguins Early. From here on out, I have no real intentions to add more fund on Base to buy meme coins and I hope at least 1 of them will take off at some point so I can re-invest.

Conclusion
I'm still having a lot of fun with these Meme Coins and I look forward to another week hopefully with a bounce to the upside or at least 1 of them that takes off for some reason. I'mm be back next week with another update. If anyone has some coins to shill, feel free to do so in the comments!
