"How much have you earned from Instagram?"

The question that you should be asking your Web 2.0 social media using friends.

Unless they're an influencer with 100,000+ followers or use it to advertise their already established business the answer is nearly always going to be $0

And weirdly people are totally fine with that.

The release of Leo threads has made me very optimistic about the future of Hive.
The effort that is expected from authors previously for posts was a sticking point for me in onboarding new members.
Not everybody has the time or more often the patience to write out 500 word articles even with the potential of financial rewards.

Threads changes this with micro-rewards and this week I've been trying it out to see how it compares to "the old way".

I take several pictures a week of my dog that once upon a time I would occasionally post to Facegram or Instabook for absolutely zero reward.
Now instead I post it to threads with a relevant hastag and within minutes the post that took seconds to write has made me 10¢.

While a lot of people would be quick to dismiss such a small amount, I think the work vs reward ratio there is huge. And that brings me to the next question I think you should ask your friends.

"What's your daily Web 2.0 screen time?"

Most smart phones have a digital wellbeing screen where it will show you how long you've spent on on each app per day.

My screen use has plummeted since deleting my Facebook account

I'd be willing to bet that people you know will have screen time on Facegram/Instabook into several hours.

So my final question to them would be:

"What's the earning potential if you spent that time on Leo threads?"

Interesting point of view. I has not try this yet. Maybe I should.

Both Instabook and Facegram aren't my thing because I can't just waste my data scrolling or posting stuff when I could earn them on Leothreads. I prefer using my screen time for the best purpose and in the best use.
