Joining the Army
Greetings everyone 🤲
I was passing through one of my favourite all-time sites this morning when I came across a topic, kind of a news story, about the lamentation of the government that people in my state were not willing to join the army. I didn't bother to open and read the content; the topic alone got my brain arrested, and I began to think on many reasons why people join the army.
- Why would someone wake up one morning and decide to join the army?
I know this is very fine in other developed countries where soldiers seldom go to war, but here in my country, the paramilitary even gets the most hits because there's always war within the nation. Joining the Army in my country is totally a deal of death. I know it's the same thing with other countries, but come on, your life is totally unpredictable here. It can happen anytime, yes, I mean any f^cking time, like when you're being deployed as a soldier to guard a peaceful student protest. Before you know it, the newly initiated occultic students have used you to vent the beatings they got via initiation. Or do you think it's all civilians who fear the army?
Sometime this year in Uniben, A soldier suffered this in Uniben, and the whole army in Barack came out to vent anger, but they couldn't do anything because students are children of the government.
Scoreline: Civilians 1:0 Soldiers*
- Do these people do it with the correct senses, or is it enchantment at work?
Sometimes I feel like people don't just join the army with their real senses; I'm sure they're being controlled, manipulated, and enchanted.
For instance, just the way the federal government is angry that people in my state don't join the army to serve the nation, they can go the extra mile to make some sacrifice in a deity house to help blind the hearts of many to joining the Army.
It's not possible, right? It's very possible, as long as love potion is real.
Let me tickle your fantasy; didn't you hear that Michael Jackson sold his soul to the devil to make his music stay in people's minds? Or you think you got to love MJ's song by ease? No! You were enchanted.
If it's not enchantment at work, why would someone join the army (the Nigerian Army)? I can't think of it.
- Could it be poverty that's the reason why people join the army?
As much as I want to agree to this with regards to the current harsh economic condition, poverty can never make me want to join the army. Joining the Army as an escape route from poverty is as important as signing a death certificate while you earn it.
A man must die one day, right?
Is there anything bad about prolonging the date of death?
From what I've seen and studied, poverty can never kill a human; in fact, those who are poor live longer because they have fewer characteristics that attract death to them, e.g., armed robbers do not visit a poor man's house.
For someone like me, I would prefer to earn $10 a month on a petty job than $12 on being a soldier. [Maybe that's a typo error]
- Some may say it's passion.
I fantasise about carrying sophisticated weapons whenever I'm watching a war film. I so much wish I'm the one shooting and sending lives to hell without remorsefulness, but that can only be my fantasy in movies and not in real life.
I know people have passion for it just like it is in football, but it's baffling to me why people have passion for dead-full work.
Joining the army in my country is just like registering for the Korean movie Squid Game. No Mercy!
Thank you!
