Proof Of Brain is this idea from the blue paper that humans have meaningful work and that can be verifying the effort or value of a post, in my opinion. That Esteem bestowed by our upvote as a curator is of course, first to upvote our own posts because, if they are not worth our own vote, why make them at all? And secondly, to upvote the minnows. Because with great Power comes Great responsibility, if your HP is over 50% you should immediately begin upvoting NEW content

Proof Of Brain is not just 'does this post have value'. We all are here putting in effort, the concept of Proof Of Brain also refers to the effort of curating new content and verifying the work.

I always wonder how many new posts don't receive any upvotes. I want to encourage new users to keep writing even if their posts don't get much recognition. The real value is the permanent ledger of your human meaningful efforts. As a blog, as a ledger, as a feeless value transfer protocol, as a social network, as a gaming platform, as a research platform that potentially funds itself.

How much value are we adding to the blockchain? There are a whole lot of users who just cash out their rewards but I hope in 2025 a higher Hive price might encourage users to consider Powering up.
