Lol! I love it! Was he using the string as dental floss, perhaps? A colorful array of toys he has there, so how can he be bored?

When he was "younger", sometimes he would play on his own with his toys. Nowadays, if I don't play with him he either sleeps or just sits there looking at me with "beggar eyes".
