Local train & Actifit January 2 2024
On the local train line, this is the train we're supposed to see, and some use every day: the newer and more modern-looking one. But instead, most of the time, we get to see the big, very old monster, which is slow and also a diesel guzzling machine. Why? Because they say the new one is broken most of the time.

That's too bad my friend, the modern train engine looks very powerful I'm sure it's very efficient!😄
My son worked for the railroad over here, and he tells me it's about the same ..........some of the old diesels are falling apart!
Do they ever give a reason why it breaks down so often? If it's that bad, they should send it back and ask for a new one! Who can figure out the powers that be? Craziness for sure!
Good job with your 5502 @actifit steps for the day. Take care!
The story of the state-owned train company is too long to put in writing, but it's full of thieves and corruption.
It seems like all thing government is that way. It's really sad. Take care!

The modern train is really looking nice but I wonder why you get to see the old one all the time, lol
Just like in my country too
when I used to commute to NY we had the more modern lookign trains, but if ever there was a problem with the power lines for the train they would switch to the old deisel trains
Wishing you and years all the best for 2024 and Thanks for joining the Wednesday Walk :)
Yes, that diesel train should be used as a backup, the problem is that sometimes the backup runs more often than the electric one. :) Funny how I call it a diesel train, but actually that diesel engine produces electricity for the electric motors that actually move the train. :)
Yay! 🤗
