Ice & Actifit January 5 2024
Around this time of the year, there's a dumb religious tradition which involves cutting a slab of ice and sculpting it to look like a cross, there's nothing special about that, what I'm amazed of is the thickness of that ice, just have a look at the weather in the background, I can't believe there was ice on that water, let alone being that thick.

The ice doesn’t look thick enough to have a piece of machinery out there alone three people standing there !🙄
YEah it was safe because the machine was actually a truck with a lifting arm that was sitting on solid ground, but on that ice there were 7 or 8 people at some point, no problemo. :))

I’m always cautious on ice, I grew up ice-skating when I was four years old.
I can remember hearing the ice crack in the center of the lake when a dozen people we’re in onespot !😳
