The "ugly" part of this time of the year when winter and snow are gone but the real green spring is not yet here, so everything looks dirty and gloomy. Oh well, nothing much I can do, just wait for better days...

Does any snow stay up at higher elevations in the mountains near you?
Here in the Pacific we have permanent snow packs at higher elevations. That way you can always get your snow/ winter “fix” till next year! 😇

Nope, the peaks in my county are not really that high, I would have to travel more than 200-250Kms to find some snow in the middle of summer. :)

It’s different all over the country here. In Washington state we have snow all year long on the glaciers. In the high peaks over 14,000 feet in Colorado all the snow melts in the summertime. 🙄
