A random view from near the town center, nothing special but anyone can notice the casino slots and betting shop, everywhere you turn there is a place like that, especially in the town center out of 50 shops at least 15 of them are of this kind where stupid people go to lose/donate their money. I can "bet my money" :)) that I'm not wrong about that number, maybe there's more than 15 just in that area... a real disease for the entire country.

Betting is one thing, at least you have some real chances at winning there, but the most rampant problem is the places with "slot machines", they are everywhere, everywhere you turn there's a pharmacy and a slot machine place. :)

I hear ya! Some years ago when I worked for a big box retailer, the vision center manager asked me to accompany her to an open enrollment gathering for a local Native American tribe. It was held at their casino. We worked the health benefit booth for our company and then on lunch, she wanted to gamble. It didn't sit well with me as I just don't do that. She gambled; I watched her lose her money. So sad as so many will keep on gamblin because they just know the next one will be the big winner.
