Another carrot day & Actifit February 21 2024

Hey @silvertop do you remember this post I made a few days ago about the carrot field? :))
Yesterday I was in the same area and had to test them, it seems like they stood the test of winter and did not freeze, well some of them did look already "cooked", but the big majority I tested look perfectly fine, they are crunchy and edible. Most of them were protected by the soil, only those that poked their heads up too much got affected. This field has now become a curiosity, I have to know/see what's going to happen to them.
PS: Now I have become a carrot thief, please don't tell anyone! :))

That’s amazing that they are still good to eat!😊
I remember someone once started planting potatoes in the high country of Colorado at over 9,000 ft. No one thought anything could grow in a location that had the possibility of freezing weather almost every day in the summer.
I guess being under the dirt, the carrots are behaving the same way as the potatoes !😇🤗
