Chicks are so cute! Back a few years when we raised some, I had this one in particular who would sit on my hand and look at me with it's head moving side to side, like it understood what I was saying. I thought she had such personality! As it turned out, she, who I had named Penelope, wasn't a 'she' at all! A rooster had made it past the process of separation of the boys and girls. The name stuck and he was Penelope the rooster! We don't have chickens anymore as a predator took them all unfortunately. I do miss them and their eggs. Enjoy the little ones!
