Leaves, lots of dying leaves everywhere you look. But compared to the colors of spring or full summer, this is certainly the time when all the leaves put on a show of colors. The tree in the last two images is an odd one (and I have no idea what it is or what those red fruits are). Its leaves turn from green to bloody red first before going brown...

Hey @drlobes! Based on my plant app, that unknown plant is Cotoneaster horizontalis. It is a deciduous shrub native to China. It typically grows 2-3 fee tall and 5-8 fee wide. The leaves are small, glossy and dark green and turn a vibrant red color in the fall. It produces the bright red berries that hang around into the winter.

It's beautiful! Reminds me kind of holly with the green of the leaves and the red color from the leaves and berries!
