I appreciated it when I thought we were actually doing good in the world. One deployment and I learn it was a sham.
Just had to throw that in to tie in the intro but yeah I do feel inclined to a more interventionalist position these days. The ol "Fool Me Once.." saying comes to mind.
The MIC is a massive machine that will do anything for profits and it shows by the constant turmoil in the world. The US has had a hand in almost every single country and has stoked more flames than any other country, to feed that machine.
I'm beyond thankful I got out in 2000 and didn't have to go through the next decade of stupidity. I worked on nukes so wasn't deployable but I saw the sham quite clearly.
And believe me, I still have pride in my country. Just not the cunts running it.
Same, the problem is not us peons. It's the same problem that has persisted through history, the ruling class and the dramatic disconnection with the peons. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
