I should know right... I don't even know how I have time for this. I guess my wife is a God, and hopefully my kids' lifestyle one day will not suggest to them to kill me for spending so much time around computers and kind of, making them like those too.

I try to protect them, and therefore, they don't know much of what I do here. But maybe one day they might discover "why was dad so many times on the PC" ;D

Anyhow, I do this as a hobby, not because I need to get funds from it.

And because I enjoy teaching and learning about new stuff too.

By the way... no more "sir" please ;D makes me feel so old! LOLOL...

"You" is my main go for... I hope that's fine for you too. I usually ask before assuming, but I sometimes get excited and forget about manners when calling people "too much directly". But it is all due to how used I got to New Zealand simplicity.

Or if you want to call me by my name, you can use Jose.

We're both passionate about technology, and I'd like to learn more about it, but I'm learning little by little. And I'm sure your children will understand. José. Chévere. Hive It's a good hobby; it's rewarding to spend time here and learn a little bit about everything.

One like her saying "Sir" could be awesome... depending on the situation 😂
I've seen so many Venezuelan people saying "sir". It's like "dear" for the Nigerian people I think.

Good day dear sir 😜

Yeah, probably... my first interpretation was that it had the American meaning.

Hehe, hey, in Venezuela we use a lot chico, pana, broder

And in this case, sir, we use it in the context of

"hello friend, how are you?" It's like "SIR" and at the same time it implies "hello"

It's complicated to explain, because it's more like a linguistic consensus of greeting without saying it completely.

Sounds like you use it in the same way as "what's up" or "sup" 😃

That's a good thing to know before going to Venezuela.
By the way, how many there speak English? I have often seen people from there saying they are not good at English so I'm just wondering

If that's the meaning, Something very similar.

it's that not many people are fluent in English, even though it's a required subject in high school. Soon Venezuela will be a different place, and I'm sure we'll attract tourism. So you'll be welcome just like @forykw We have the tallest waterfall in the world and that is something wonderful "Angel Falls"

I am definitely going there one day, the pictures I have seen around on Hive are amazing (yours included) and the waterfall sounds very tempting 🤩
