Elon Musk instead is shadow banning people through algorithms on twitter. Before with Jack Dorsey they use to just ban people. With Elon they don't need to do that. Elon just puts you in a digital cage where no one can see your tweets. Doctor Shiva calls this Censorship on Steroids, or 2.0.

It's just speculation now. Elon Musk did open source all of his Tesla patents so it wouldn't be a surprise to me if Twitter, or X now I presume, also became more open source. I don't know exactly what parts of Twitter were work for hire or if any parts were proprietary and a third party has some legal claims to the IP. Before open sourcing X he probably has to change the entire source code.
