Splinterlands Sustainability

Hello splinterlanders around the world, how are you doing today? I was in my place and started thinking about the sustainability of the splinterlands game and realized many factors that will make this longer than what i ever imagined.
Splinterlands is one of the hottest NFT right now in the world and the game came to existence more than 3 years ago but wasn’t known at the initial stage.
Splinterlands NFT is one of the first games I knew in the hive blockchain, then followed by a number of games later.
After the explosive growth in popularity of Splinterlands in the year 2021, so many games were introduced, such as axie infinity, rising star and many more.
2021 was indeed an explosive growth year for splinterlands as the prices of all splinterlands assets skyrocketed. Couldn’t catch up with some of those assets, land which was sold around $20 increases to $700 and even more; what a year for splinterlands!
I and my friends were talking about NFT games in general weeks ago: one of my friend asked me sustainability of splinterlands game and i replied to him that, ‘if there is a NFT game that have come and stay for life, it is splinterlands NFT game. Though we have so many NFT games but the one i know that have come and stay with us, it is splinterlands game”
He asked me, “what gives me confidence about the game?”
I gave the the following reason and i called the ‘splinterlands sustainability’
Digital Game Era: we are now in the digital game era where a 10 years old understands what we called NFT games. Imagine that, NFT is now the talk of the day for many youths in my environment which some of them did not know about in the beginning of last year. I saw may youths engaging in #play2earn games, they get involved more in play2earn games, they research more about latest play2earn games and tell you the latest NFT games. I heard so many things about online games from them.
NFT continues to gain popularity all over the world even till date.

The Investment Process: This game requires you to invest more, the more you invest the more profit you get. Splinterlands itself pushes you to invest more and more because you want to compete with big players in the splinterlands games. Just like what happened to me, I just want to keep investing every penny I get into the game. I knew it won’t be easy for me to invest a large amount of money at a time, so I started investing little by little.

New Innovation Into the Game: there are always new innovations to splinterlands game, such as splinterlands NFT- how you can mint your artwork, game rewarding system, partnership, introduction of new cards and many more.
I remember during the Chao pre-sale period when I heard that the new cards would be introduced, I made sure that I participated to get those cards, because I realized that for me to keep winning, I need to get those cards. This is one of the innovations that make players dive more into the game.

The Game Assets increase: I remember 2 years ago when some of the cards were very small in value compared to today; you can summoners of level 4 for $8 even less if I am not mistaken. It was very easy to build a splinterlands account compared with today. I hope that it will be very difficult for the cards’ value to go back to its initial value.

Rewarding system: the rewarding system is very good. Based on your assets, the bigger your account the higher your rewards both in daily quest and season rewards. Even while playing the game, the DEC the bigger accounts get is different from the players in the lower league like novice and silver.

WHAT A WONDERFUL BATTLE TO WATCH
After watching this battle, I felt like sharing. My thought was that I had lost the battle the moment I saw his monsters and summoner. But the reverse was the case.

Weak Magic: Magic attacks hit armor before before reducing health

MONSTERS ARRANGEMENT

Living Lava: hmmm! The shield ability of this monster always drove me and there is no better position than first position for this monster. Though, not all battle rules but in most cases, the best position is in the first position.
There was not much pressure on living lava- Goblin Shaman and IMP bowman attacked it while other monsters attacked from behind.

Fineas Rage: this monster's reach ability, melee attack and speed made it my choice monster in most of the battles I played in splinterlands when I was using fire splinter. The melee attack is very strong and accurate.

Serpentine Spy: used this opportunity monster because of the smallest monsters in the lineup that can do damage to monsters. Eliminated even cutthroat at the first round and was finally eliminated by Kobold miner.

Kobold Miner: When I saw IMP bowman, I thought my kobold miner would mix the attack because most times in my battles, it takes 3 or 4 times before a kobold miner can target IMP bowman due to flying ability. But, in this battle, with just an attack, it destroyed it.

Halfling Alchemist: my plan was to break the weapon of the first monster: unfortunately, the first monster did not have a weapon and halfling was eliminated in the second round of the battle.

Furious Chicken: it was to delay the attack since it cost me nothing and i was still having one pot to fill up with a monster. Furious Chicken was the only option left for me since I have utilized all my mana cap.
