So, it was a wonderful Friday in DD. We were to drive to the other house in the morning; however, we decided to postpone it for next week because my hormones were all over the place. Geez, blaming that to disguise our procrastination?

Maybe.

Well, I'm just kidding! The hubby needed to fix the rain gutters first, now that the sky was bright.

But yeah, I somehow felt a bit of guilt, especially since the gutter can wait. It's just that I wasn't in the mood to go and pack things, lol! It's funny how I yearned to be back in the Lil Kingdom, yet when the time arose, my body (or was it my mind) responded otherwise.


The trip to our Lil Kingdom was to check it out. It had been over six months since our last visit. We also intended to clear some personal stuff in the living room because a nephew (the son of a second cousin) needed a place to stay with his growing family. We thought they could make our previous abode their home and take good care of the property as well. That said, they will have to wait for a couple of days for the keys, since we couldn't be there sooner.

Meanwhile, the day went swiftly, and I couldn't help but wonder whether it would have been more fulfilling if we had pushed through with the initial plan. Maybe, we would be spending the night over there... or perhaps, we would have taken a side trip and gone home to Dad's...

Okay, 'nuff of that before many more "what-could-have-been" come out, lol! Besides, the heavy downpour outside kinda agrees that fixing the gutter was a sensible excuse, lol!

Anyway, no other reasons should stop us next week. And so, here's to a fantastic weekend as it comes!

Usually I just force myself to do stuff even if I don't feel like, because you just gotta do them sooner or later lol, first the duty then the pleasure

Wow! That's the place I want to visit in the future. Been to La Trinidad and to Tuba before, I think that's in February, 1987 or 88... I was a high-school sophomore way back then.🤗❤️🫰

Yup. I was with my uncle who worked as an agriculturist at the municipality of Tuba at that time. Been to a place in La Trinidad with a vast plantation for research and the people there are doing some research to adapt fruit trees from other countries like apple, peaches etc, trees that are only found in countries with cool climate. As of Tuba, what I can't forget there is the cold weather. Imagine, I'm wearing a t-shirt, a sweatshirt plus a jacket and stayed to a place at the municipal grounds where I can have sunlight and yet I can still feel the coolness even if it's near 12:00 high noon! Hahaha 🤣✌️✌️✌️

I can totally relate to those moments when you’re just not in the mood to pack your things. No matter how much you love going out, there are really times when you just don’t feel like leaving the house.

The gutter turned out to be the perfect excuse.
