IAAC #110, Many Parents are still taking high risk over their children life

Hello friends, I welcome you all to my blog this evening. Is been weeks of so many activities in school that I couldn't even spare 10 minutes for my hive enjoyment. Hope my post meet you all in good health. Today I want to share with us what happened on Friday morning.

As early as 7:30 am, Ias I was inside bus to school with 2 other passengers, a beautiful young lady stopped our business, and she was standing with her 3 kids prepared for school. She put 3 of them inside bus, even the driver told a young man who sitting at the center to please go to the back so that the woman and her children will sit.

To everyone surprise, she told the driver that she is not going with the kids. She said to the driver, please when you reach so so and so place, drop them, they will go to their school 🙄. Omo, we were like, this woman, you mean, you are not going with them. The driver asked her, is that how you put them inside bus every day? Out of curiosity, he asked again, how are they going to come back?

The woman said, their teacher will put them inside bus after school. I looked at this kids, 6,4 and 2 years. To me, the risk is too much. What do you think? So many things had happened in this my country where parents lost all their kids to kidnappers because of sending them to school all alone.

It was a long discussion that morning. Many said, it is not wise for parents to send their children to school that is too far from where they are living or working because it will not easy for them to take them to school and bring them back.

In school

For three weeks now, we hardly have time for break. Our break time use to be 12 noon to 1:pm and we close by 4pm. But for 3 weeks now, we start from 8am and close 5pn and some times before I get home is already 6:30pm. After my dinner, I will spend hours reading. I will try my best this week to participate as much as I can in community contest, I'm going to own it down by setting weekly goal on hive and see how I work hard toward it.

In conclusion, parents please, do your best to take your younger kids to school or have someone you trust to do so. It is really a high risk sending 3 kids who can't help themselves out on their own to go to school that is very far from where they live.
