Burn Energy and My SPS Goal Reached

Burn it all!

I have to admit, this is starting off better than I'd thought. As it stands right now, we're under 12 hours into the event and we've already burned about 1/4 of the DEC-B (95 million) in existence (good riddance) and almost 3% of the total DEC supply (about 135 million).

It's not that I think people shouldn't be participating. It's a great deal and there's a lot of awesome prizes, I'm just surprised people are participating as much as they are. Splinterlands has felt like theater that's burst into flames recently. Just as they finally get things straightened out from the mess they made in 2021, sentiment has turned awful and everyone has been running for the door. All this enthusiasm is a very welcomed surprise.

I've only put in the DEC-B I had leftover. 13,350 DEC-B puts 671 people in front of me.

I have about 120k DEC but I also have 9 plots of land I'm saving for so I'm going to hold off on burning that. I'm also looking at buying a house irl potentially soon so I can't keep putting new money into this game. It's a shame because everything is at fire sale pricing and I'd love to partake. Isn'tt hat how it always works out though? When prices are at their lowest, money is always at its tightest.

Speaking of my own account, I just hit a milestone in SPS

127k SPS staked, which is exactly what I need to get 100% rewards in diamond 2.

I think I'm getting about 1000 SPS per week right now on average between playing and staking rewards but I'd love to have more. I need another 50k to get 100% rewards for diamond 1 but its getting harder to actually get to diamond 1 lately so I guess I have time to get te SPS together for it.

Off topic but does anyone else feel a bull market in crypto starting to bubble up? Everyone keeps talking about doomsday, meanwhile the nasdaq is hitting 52 week highs 3 times a week now and bitcoin is doing fine. I just bought a meme coin on Algorand ($COOP) that has increased 200% since I bought it like a week ago, hive is looking like its heating up all over the place, and Splinterlands has a lot of incredible stuff coming soon. Just saying. Maybe it's time to turn this thing around.
