Let's talk about our Hive Goals. The ones we've completed and the new ones we've set.

well, the first time I knew I was supposed to set a goal for my Hive account was when I stumbled on the newbies initiative program and since then, I have been setting goals and trying as much as possible to accomplish them.

Sincerely, I sucked at each goal, but, my friends on Hive have been so forgiving that even when I failed, they encourage me to sit up, and keep going.

For instance, during the initiative, I had wanted to hit 1000 HP, and 1000 followers.... Very funny.

For someone who started with an HP of 28, 4 followers, 35 reputations, and 0 Hive 2nd layer tokens, how did I even imagine I would hit 1000HP and 1000 followers..... I was living in illusions... Lol.

Long story cut short, I ended up with 133 followers and 306.891 HP by the end of Three months which was how long the initiative lasted.

There was one goal I was closer to achieving, it was hitting, a 70HP. At the end of the initiative, I was at reputation 62, and currently, I am proudly in reputation 65. This means I am closer to 70 rep than I ever imagined.

My goals didn't stop there, by the beginning of the new year, I set more goals. To engage furiously and to power up every month. Last month, I almost didn't power up, I had offline bills, and I had to use my HBD to cater to them. I did power up, but, it wasn't even up to 10 Hive... Gosh, I was so ashamed. 😂😂

Ask me, what happened to the engagement goal? It went sour 😅

Now, this month, we Started with the @dreemport challenge, and mehn, I fix up another goal. The challenge ends in three weeks. It was scheduled for 6 weeks. We have successfully finished week 3 today. And you know what my goal was? To hit 300 followers and to make it to the top 10 on the weekly engagement league.

Well, the day, I set these goals, I had 180 followers, but, right now, I have 205 followers. I have a feeling I might hit the 300 followers goals even before the end of the challenge. And that would be nice because for the first time I am going to set goals and accomplish them.

And the weekly engagement league goal has been on point too. I wasn't only at top 10 for the two consecutive weeks I started, I also ended up on a lucky number for ma'am dswigle twice, and gosh, she is a generous giver. She has gifted me lots of liquid Hive and I am so grateful.

Oh, let me not bore you with my rough journey. It has been an up and down movement, but, I am grateful for the lessons I am gaining.

I am so proud of you, also you motivate me to keep up in the hive engagement league, Lord knows sometimes it is a bit tiring 😆

I need to get back to top 10, I have been lagging a lot, I know.

That day, it wasn't even up to 10 Hive, I think it was either 6 or 7 🤣🤣 but I am glad I did power up.

God is great

I wish we have enough external source of funds to cater for our immediate needs.
Earning from hive should be invested and turned over in different direction.

That way one can achieve some level of financial stability soon.

Oh my, I wish the same thing I do. I usually imagined how much HP I would have had as stake if I didn't always have to use a part of my HBD to foot my bills offline. It's all good Sha. We'll get there... One of these days. I believe 😔

I wish that everytime I transfer my fund for withdrawal, the pain that comes with it ehh. That's why I struggle everyday to upskill myself for the labour market

Trying to be all modest, hehehe..your journey has been one to really write about Sensei, you're indeed one to look up to. I'm glad I got the opportunity to learn under you even though I've failed you, 😂😂..

At least you've got it down first before you later go to see reality. I'd learn from this not to just set goals in my head without writing it down

Power up? Really? Powering up gives you more HP. At the same time, it increases your curation rewards.

This means, with more HP, you can reward the various posts you feel are good, and others should see them, using your Hive power.

It's the reason people have most of their posts trending. The various curators who give their 2 cents to those posts they find worthy to be found by others. So, they vote it with their powers.

Just thinking about this gives me vibes. Imagine, having such power too.... whistles... If you imagine it, and you want this too, guy, power up more.... Lol 😂
