Buying Splinterlands Asset

Yesterday, I spent some extra Hive tokens to purchase some Splinterlands assets. I was thinking whether to use them to power up my account or buy some DEC for rental, especially while DEC is still cheaper with the current price of Hive. In the end, I ended up purchasing Tokenized Rebellion and Chaos packs, along with a few hundred SPS tokens that I could stake in the game.

The Rebellion pack is the latest edition of the Splinterlands Pack, and it is already available for purchase in-game and on the Hive Engine as a Tokenized pack.

The price of the Rebellion pack in-game is 5000 DEC, which is around 13+ Hive. However, if you use a voucher, you can get a discount. I bought mine yesterday for $2+, which is around 8+ Hive.

I just bought one to support the project, even though most of my cards are rented. I'm sure that these cards will be available for rent soon, but I still want to open a pack. It's not that I'm expecting to get any expensive cards from this pack, it's just that I'm happy to get one that I can open on the day of unpacking.

I'm also excited about the new abilities that will be available soon. These abilities will be a game-changer and will make rank battles more fun and enjoyable.

I also bought three Tokenized Chaos packs they are so cheap now that it's hard to resist buying them.

I miss those days when you still got Chaos packs from End of Season Rewards that you could open. It was the highlight of every player's Season Rewards. I'm not planning on opening all of my Chaos packs at once, maybe I'll open one pack every time I get bored playing and want some high level of excitement.

Hopefully, I can get some good cards that I like and that will be useful for me when playing in Modern Rank mode.

I also bought SPS tokens when I noticed that the price vs. Hive tokens had gone down a little. I'm planning to buy SPS tokens every time I have available Hive, and I'm also planning not to withdraw any SPS tokens that I earn in Guild Battles so that I can stake it and boost my Splinterlands account.

One more day until the End of Season. As of now, my EOS chest is ranked silver, but I'm planning to go back to bronze because I don't think I can maintain the expense in silver, and I don't see the rewards that I get being any different from bronze. Before, I used to open 40+ chests during the end of the season, but now I think I can only open 11-12 chests.

If only the Battle Recharge weren't that expensive, I'd probably have played more in this league.
