My Special Ruleset Cards

avatar

We rent cards because we have found them to be helpful in winning ranked battles. These are the cards that we rent because they can't be out of our lineup, except when the ruleset doesn't allow them.

Some examples of these cards are sneaker cards with the sneak ability, like Tenyii Striker of Fire Element, Pelacor Bandit of Water Element, Goblin Thief of Earth Element, Stitch Leech of Life Element, Silent Shavii of Death Element, Uraeus of Neutral Element, and of course, last but not least, the Double Strike Dhampir Infiltrator of the Dragon Element.

I never fail to rent these cards because I always use them. Did you know that there are cards that, even though I don't use them that often, there is a need for me to rent them? Yes, there are some cards that I only rent because I might need them in case a specific ruleset appears. These cards can be very helpful if you have them in your deck, even though they are not used as often as your other cards.

My Special Occasion Cards

I call these cards my Special Occasion Cards because I mostly use them during a specific ruleset only. So, what are these cards and which ruleset do I use them in?

  • Molten Ash Golem
  • Tinderlock
  • Lava Launcher
  • Wave Brood
  • Beatrix Ironhand
  • Hero of Beyond
  • Queen of Crows
  • Gargoya Devil

I know that there is an Earth element summoner (Fern Heart) which can give a buff to make all ranged cards have the close range ability.

But the problem is, what if Earth is not included in the active elements?

I need these Close Ranged Monsters to make sure that when the ruleset says only ranged attack monsters can be used (Going the Distance), I have a card that can fight in close range. I usually position them as linebackers.

Of all the Close Range Attack Monsters, my favorite is Tinderlock.

Tinderlock not only has the close range ability but also the last stand ability, which gives him a 50% boost on all stats when he is the only card left.

Renting these close ranged cards is not only beneficial during the "Going the Distance Ruleset", they are also helpful during the "Keep Your Distance" ruleset, which doesn't allow any melee cards to be used in battle.

Renting these cards is relatively inexpensive, so it's better to rent them to win more battles.
