Silenced Summoner BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge!

The Battle Mage Weekly Challenge for this week is Silenced Summoners.

I really like this rule because summoners cannot do anything to buff their monsters. Soulbound summoners cannot summon Gladiator cards, so they will be useless in this battle.

Before entering the battle, I first checked which cards my opponent likes to use. I noticed that my opponent prefers using the summoner Lobb Lowland to summon the card Katrelba Gobson,

which I will be discussing in my Social Media Challenge post. I also observed that my opponent likes to use the water summoner Bortus, which decreases magic attack, so I know that I can use magic attack because Bortus's buff won't work in this battle.

I don't like Katrelba Gobson as an opponent, and since Lobb Lowland can't summon her right now, I can relax because no one will double-hit my cards and grow stronger every time it defeats a card.

Mana Cap: 21
Elements: Life, Earth, Water, Fire

For this battle's lineup with a mana cap of only 21, I've decided to use the summoner Obsidian because I want to summon Kron the Undying and the healer Goblin Psychic.

My Lineup

Summoner: Obsidian
Units: Fungus Fiend Mycelic Morphoid Kron the Undying Goblin Psychic

Opponent's Lineup

Summoner: Fernheart Units: Fungus Flinger Kron The Undying Queen Mycellia Fungus Fiend

Since both our summoners can't do anything for our monsters, we need to rely on our monsters' abilities, and I think positioning is crucial.

My opponent positioned Fungus Flinger, a ranged attack card with a martyr ability, in front of Kron to immediately buff it. I don't know if my opponent has forgotten that the summoner's buff won't work because the summoner used provides close-range ability.

I also noticed that my opponent placed a decoy card at the back in case I have a sneak card, so that Mycellia will be protected, and the shield buff will not be removed. The problem is, I don't have a sneak card, so the decoy card at the back is useless.

What I have is Kron in the third position so that it will not get hit initially, two decoy cards at the front to protect Kron, and a healer at the back. Actually, I was hesitant to put a healer because the opponent might use a sneak card that attacks the last card. So, for me, positioning this card at the back is a risk.

I won the battle after seven rounds. My opponent's Kron did not last because my setup heals twice every round, giving my Kron card more life.
