What I'm sharing with you now is one of my Splinterlands battles where I thought of a good lineup of cards. Although we can't really predict which cards the opponent will use, it's still good to create a strategy in arranging our cards.
What I'll show you in this week's Social Media Challenge is my Earth Element lineup, which I think is effective because I've used it several times. It may not be usable in low Mana Cap battles, but it's still good.
My Line Up
Summoner: Obsidian Mana: 4
Monster Units:
Tank: Lord Thanalor Mana: 12
2nd: Mycelic Slipspawn Mana: 9
3rd: Goblin Psychic Mana: 6
4th: Spirit Hoarder Mana: 3
5th: Scavo Hireling Mana: 3
6th: Queen Mycelia Mana: 4
Total Mana: 37

Strategy:
To maximize the use of this strategy, the minimum card requirement must be at level 2 for the Rare Summoner.
Summoner: Obsidian
I'm using the Obsidian summoner because, if you notice, all of my units are Magic Attack Monsters. Since Obsidian gives a +1 Magic Attack Buff, all of these monsters will have a bigger magic Attack power, except when countered by Nomos - Fire Element Summoner or Thadius Brood - Death Element Summoner because they can decrease magic attack power.
Tank: Lord Thanalor
I used this card as my tank because it has a shield, a huge life, above-average speed, and a big Magic Attack power (3), which will be more powerful if summoned by Obsidian.
2nd Monster: Mycelic Slipspawn
I used this monster because of its taunt ability. The advantage of using taunt is if the opponent's tank is a melee attack card, it will not target Mycelic Slipspawn, making it less opponents for Slipspawn and less damage.
3rd Monster: Goblin Psychic
I used Goblin Psychic mainly to heal my tank.
4th: Spirit Hoarder
I use Spirit Hoarder to heal any backliner with damage, mostly to support Mycelic Slipspawn.
5th Monster: Scavo Hireling
This monster is for restoring the tank's shield in case the opponent has a melee attack tank.
6th Monster: Queen Mycelia
I cannot always use Queen Mycelia because sometimes the mana cap is smaller than 37, but the purpose of this card is to provide additional shield for my monsters in case there are sneak and snipe cards in the opponent's monsters.
Substitute Card: Mycelic Morphoid
In case I still need to fill up the last spot and I can't fit Queen Mycelia in it, I place Mycelic Morphoid at the back and make use of its Thorn Ability in case there is a Sneaker in the opponent's team.
